To solve this issue, he designed a strap out of duct tape, giving birth to the Handy Paint Pail. In 2008, Bercom made changes and improvements to their products, starting with the color of the pails. The Pro Series Paint Pail was also redesigned, now lighter in weight and lower in price, and renamed the Handy Roller Pail. Responding to customer requests to easily attach the Roller Pail to a ladder, Bercom introduced the Handy Ladder Hook. This item not only secures the Roller Pail or a standard paint can to any ladder, but also has various other uses.

The Handy Paint Cup, a disposable paint cup that holds up to a pint of paint, was a successful new product for Bercom in 2008. While it may not offer all the features of the Handy Paint Pail, it provides customers with an affordable alternative. Featuring a built-in magnet, the Handy Paint Cup is perfect for trim work and craft projects. Bercom continues to innovate with new and exciting products, so stay tuned for more updates.
